BT Heritage & Archives

BT Heritage & Archives preserves the historical information of British Telecommunications plc and its predecessors from the early part of the nineteenth century up to the present day, effectively the history of telecommunications services in the United Kingdom and from the UK to overseas. Customer demand for digital access to this rich and informative history is ever-increasing.

Our relationship with Covergold is one of that has extended over a number of years and we’d like to think that it’s been one of mutual benefit. It was 2010 when our Bookeye 3 scanner was delivered, primarily to allow in-house scanning of the larger and more fragile documents in our collections. The independently height-adjustable cushioned platens offer the necessary documents support for up to A3 size and the software interface is easy to use once a degree of familiarity has been established. The quality of the scans is exceptional.

As always with Covergold the support and backup is exceptional and, as such, confirms them as our partner of choice in this field.
